"Lo-fi bedroom acoustics replete with finger squeaks, simple melodies, and some cutting observations make this EP a really intriguing listen. The sparseness puts a spotlight on the lyrical content and vocals, and it all sounds very conversational, as opposed to the dreaded “diary entry being read aloud” sort of thing. Definitely worth checking out, especially “Holy Passionless” and the closer/title track."
